What begins as an overlanding honeymoon from the Colorado mountains toward Banff becomes a fight to survive when a remote backcountry adventure collides with a world changing almost overnight. It’s a story about marriage, fear, endurance, grace, and what matters when the plan disappears.

Post Family Pilgrimage started as a way to document the kind of life we never wanted to forget: taking the long way, exploring with our kids, sleeping under canvas, fishing cold rivers, climbing mountains, serving people, and learning to see God in the middle of ordinary miles.
Frankie and Susanna have built a family life around faith, ministry, storytelling, and adventure. Along the way, PFP has grown from a family travel journal into a place for overlanding videos, honest stories, books, devotionals, gear, and encouragement for people who want their lives to mean more than simply getting from one destination to the next.
We’re based in the River Valley of Arkansas, but the pilgrimage keeps taking us farther—from Ozark trails and Oklahoma rivers to the Rocky Mountains, Africa, and whatever comes next.
